Lecture
Notes By Warren Buffett
Having
read through a PDF file transcripting his lectures back in 1991,
it is a real eye-opener at understanding what makes this man click
and understand the people behind a business. He may strictly be
categorized as an investor, but he sure has much common sense
and knows a lot about business dynamics, that's why he is the
world's No. 2 richest man.
Here's
a blog
post about him. Have a good laugh reading the PDF file too.
It's laced with wicked humor, especially one about Donald Trump.

How
Trying To Be A Good Friend Can Perpetuate Negativity In The Workplace
by Teri Harris Saa
You
actively listen to a colleague complain and you nod your head
and go, "Uh-huh uh-huh..." What you don't realize is
by being a good friend at lending your ear in such a situation
does not help to get to the point and solve the problem.
Teri
Harris Saa wrote that you should observe your reaction in response
to other people's negativity and take specific steps of action
to make the situation POSITIVE. Here
it is.

Relational Transmutation Between Woman, Man And God

Review:
The Little Saboteur by Marco von Munchhausen
You
know the problem: whenever you have to make a change or an important
decision, a "little saboteur" appears—you may
call it your "weaker self". This
book explains how it can be conquered and tamed.
*
Recognize where you meet the little slacker (filling out a checklist
will help).
*
Your choice of words influences your view of things. Instead of
"I have to", say "I want to".
*
Focus on solutions. Ask "How can I best manage that?"
instead of "I can't do that!"
*
See difficulties as challenges, mistakes as aids to orientate
yourself and failures as interim stages on the way to success.
*
One of the definitive factors in having fun doing anything is
challenge—but only if the challenge is in balance with your
own capabilities.
*
Make a list of all the projects you want to attack, then make
a conscious decision for each point whether you will really start
putting it into practice.
*
For small plans you keep putting off, tackle them like eating
oysters: one after the other, never two at once.
2.
Decide upon your true dreams. Write down specific goals and develop
a plan to achieve them.
3.
Take action. Goals are nothing without action. Don't be afraid
to get started. Just Do It.
4.
Never stop learning. Go back to school or read books. Get training
and acquire skills.
5.
Be persistent and work hard. Success is a marathon, not a sprint.
Never Give up.
6.
Be flexible and work smart. Extract and re-process the essence
of information to your advantage. Know what is your asset.
7.
Focus your time and money where the big-time stakes are high.
Don't sweat the small stuff. Don't let other people or things
distract you.
8.
Don't be afraid to innovate and be different. Following the herd
is a sure way to mediocrity.
9.
Deal and communicate with people effectively. No person is an
island. Learn to understand and motivate others.
10.
Be honest and dependable. Take responsibility or nothing else
matters.

Your Virtual Success,
