On
Saturday, I brought a friend along to attend a self-development
seminar called "The Science Of Achievement" (hence the
delay of this issue). During a break we discussed over lessons
learnt and what is currently the biggest challenge each of us
are facing and must overcome. And my friend said, "Every
day first thing at the office is quickly clear all the e-mails.
When I get home, all the little houseworks add up to so much.
Ever since I had a child, I've become a changed man; I never read
the papers anymore. I can still squeeze a bit more time for something
but finding that something I really wanted to do is...I have no
idea."
"Maybe
you haven't sit down and identify your interest," I said.
We banter a little more to probe further before I realized we
were about to go around in circles.
"Have
you thought why you have no passion in anything you are looking
at?" I finally asked.
"...I
don't know."
